Trek to Mongolia's beautiful Khukh Nuur (Blue Lake) located at the top of the Arhangai Mountains Range. On this challenging trekking route a you will averaging between 20KM to 30KM per day through amazingly picturesque mountain valleys and along lush river banks. This area of Arhangai is known to Mongolians as the “Horse Breeders Paradise” for its beauty. Along the way you will experience the unspoiled local nature and warm hospitality of the area’s Mongolian nomadic families. On this trek you will have opportunities to go horse back riding and learn how to use a yak as a pack animal.

On this historically rich adventure you will explore the homeland of Mongolia’s nomads and participate in the ceremony called, “Ascending Batmunkh Dayan Khan to the Throne”. Your travels will also include Khadagt Khoshuu—a special place of worship for local herders, the Manduhai Queen Monument, the beautiful Swan Lake, and a landscape of sand dunes. You will visit herder families, and have the opportunity to ride by camel cart, ox cart, and horse with a herder guide in the Khogno Khaan Natural Reserve Area.

Ih Gazriin Chuluu (Special Protected Area) is known for its massive rock formation that covers a distance of 15 kilometres as it was an underwater sea mountain range some 65-200 million years ago. What makes this area really interesting is that many of the rocks take shapes of animals, people, and even Chingis Khan himself! Many Mongolians consider the area origin Mongolia’s traditional long song; as it is the birth place of Mrs. Norovbanzad, a very famous Long Song singer.

From Mandalgovi you will make your way to GurvanSaihan where you can streach your legs and visit the local Monestary. If you are lucky you may get sent out with their blessings!
As you make your way southwards towards Uush Sand Dunes, the Gobi landscapes will transport you to what it must have been like during first explorers to Mongolia. This a good opportunity to enjoy the ride and mindscape! Uush Sand Dune is known for its traditional healing properties! You will have a great opportunity to ride a camel and/or trek along the sand dunes with our local herder who manages the area.

Saihan Ovoo know as the gateway to Umnugovi’s famous Gobi ‘Khongor Els’ sand dunes. However, many that travel through this location are unaware of its ancient and raw beauty, this area is home to the largest monastery ruins in the entire Gobi.
One can easy spend a day exploring the locations ancient ruins that spread several kilometres and the hidden caves used by early “robin hoods” of Mongolia that stole from the rich and gave to the poor and used the cave to hide from local authorities...
