Ger to Ger Nomadic Families will teach you the ancient warrior celebration from Chingis Khan times. On this Ger to Ger Nomadic Adventure you will explore the wonders of the nomadic culture by horse cart, ox cart and yak cart, giving travellers a rare perspective of the nomadic environs. You will also, unbelievably, have the chance to experience and participate in preparation of Naadam’s 3 Manly Sports with all of Ger to Ger’s nomadic families. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience as such a travel opportunity has not been offered before in Mongolia!

| Day 1 |
Arrive at Mr. Batochir's nomadic ger: Upon arrival you will be welcomed at the Local ticketing officer’s home in Ih Tamir village. Later you will trek for 30 minutes to the first of eight Gers along your journey. In the evening, all will gather for our nomadic dinner.

| Day 2 |
Learn the ancient art of Mongolian archery and the art of preparing the mane and tail of a Naadam race horse: After breakfast you will have the opportunity to learn and practice both archery and ankle bone shooting. Afterwards you will make your way to the next nomadic family by ox cart and horses for 18 kilometers. On the way we will visit the legendary Golden Chair Mountain and its ancient Mongolian burial sites of XIII century and reindeer stone. You will be served lunch and tea at Ger2. Then you will learn and practice how to tie horse’s tail and mane

| Day 3 |
Learn the methods of training horse: After breakfast, you will continue your travel to next family by horse and ox cart for 20 kilometers. On the way you will visit the first officially established elementary school in Mongolia that was built in 1918 before the revolution and nearby Buddhist Stupa. You will have a picnic lunch on the way. After your dinner, you will learn how to catch a horse by a Mongolian lasso (training) and learn how to make nomadic cheese.

| Day 4 |
Learn how to cut and prepare the mane and tail of a Naadam race horse: After breakfast, you will continue your journey to next family by horse and ox cart for 25 kilometers. You will be served a picnic lunch on the way. Upon arrival at Mr.Bataa’s herder family, you will start to learn how to cut horse’s tail and mane. In the evening you will have a nomadic dinner with the family.

| Day 5 |
Fun time, learn the Mongolian chant that is sung before horse races with the kids: You will continue your adventure through amazing valleys by horse and/or ox cart for 20 kilometers. You will be served a picnic on the way. Upon arrival, you will learn a Mongolian chant sung by children before races, as well as have plenty of time to play jump rope, soccer and other games with the children or even go swimming.

| Day 6 |
Learn the ceremony prelude of Mongolian wrestling and then relax in the nearby hot water springs: After breakfast, the adventure continues by yak cart for an appox 12 kilometers through lush forests filled with wild flowers to the hot water springs where you can take a nice relaxing bath if you wish. Once you arrive at your next family, you will learn about Mongolian wrestling prelude, have an opportunity to wear a Mongolian wrestlers costum, and later participate with the family in making a nomadic meal.

| Day 7 |
Learn the wrestlers' chant and some wrestling moves: Today you will ride a horse or travel by ox cart for 25 kilometers to visit both a burial site of an ancient monastery which was destroyed during the revolution, and see one of Mongolia’s renowned Deer stones. In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch on the way. Upon arrival at your next family, Mr. Jargalsaihan will show you different Mongolian wrestling moves and then you can practice with him if you wish.

Day 8 |
Celebrate Naadam the nomadic way: After breakfast, you will travel by ox cart and/or horses to next family where you will participate in a very small family Naadam with family. Before your dinner, you will witness a horse race (above 2 horses) on 0.5-1km distance and wrestling competition among the local men. Afterwards, our last family will serve you farewell dinner.

Day 8 |
Departure: Mr. Batchuluun will serve you breakfast. Afterwards, while you are packing your luggage, a local driver will arrive and pick you up and take you back to Tsetserleg or continue onwards to Khorgo and White Lake protected area.
