During the days, you time will be filled with spending time with the family living life at a different pace as well as enjoying those moment of adventure as you travel from nomadic family to nomadic family by horses, ox carts and even trekking! Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day One

Day One – Visit Nomadic Family at their Winter Pasture (D – Overnight in a Genuine Nomadic Ger): Our local guide will receive you at last bus stop of Terelj national park. Then you will go by ox cart to his home where 7-8kms north of Terelj river. Once you arrive at Mr. Chuluunhuu’s Ger his wife will serve you tea and dinner. You will overnight his home.

Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day Two

Warm the Winter Shelter and Fence for Livestock by Dry Dung (B, L, D – Overnight in a Genuine Nomadic Ger): In the morning you will be served a breakfast. Then you will participate warm the winter fence with dry dung to ensure that livestock stay healthy throughout the cold winter. Mrs. Battsetseg will serve you a nomadic lunch and tea. In the late afternoon you will have an opportunity to play ankle bone with family or walk around his family. Then you will be served by dinner with family members and will have your second overnight.

Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day Three

Winter Trip by Horseback Riding to Next Nomadic Family to Learn How to Prepare Small Goats and Sheep for Winter with Coverings to Keep them Warm (B, L, D – Overnight in a Genuine Nomadic Ger): In the morning you will be served a breakfast. Then you will start your journey by horse to Mr. Bold’s Ger for 15km. He will welcome you a nomadic lunch and tea. After lunch Mrs. Battsetseg will show you how to prepare small goats and sheep for winter with coverings to keep them warm. In the evening you will be served by dinner with family members and will have your third overnight.

Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day Four

Winter Trip by Horseback Riding (or ox cart) to Next Nomadic Family to Learn How to Collect Fallen Wood from Riverbeds (B, L, D – Overnight in a Genuine Nomadic Ger): After breakfast at Mr. Bold’s Ger you can try to herd livestock and milk cow. Also you have an opportunity to learn how to stitch Mongolian traditional garments, wear Mongolian costumes and click amazing photos. In the late morning herder guide will take you to Ms Amarjargal’s Ger by ox cart and horse for 5km. Ms. Amarjargal will serve you hot tea and lunch. Then you have an opportunity to help her to collect fallen wood from riverbeds to make fire. In the evening you will be served by dinner and hot milk tea and will have your fourth overnight.

Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day Five

Winter Trip by Horseback Riding (or ox cart) to Next Nomadic Family to Learn How to Warm the Winter Shelter and Fence for Livestock by Wet Dung (B, L, D – Overnight in a Genuine Nomadic Ger): After your breakfast Mr. Boogi will take you to next family by ox cart or horse for 8kms. Once you arrive at Mr. Enhee’s home his wife Mrs. Uranchimeg will serve you a nomadic lunch and tea. Then you can try to warm the winter shelter and fence for livestock by wet dung with family. In the evening she will serve you hot tea and dinner.

Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day Six

Relax (B, L, D – Overnight in a Genuine Nomadic Ger): After breakfast you will have whole day to relax. In the evening his family will welcome you a nomadic farewell dinner with tea.

Mongolia Nomad Homestay Day Seven

Departure (B): Early morning Mr.Enhee will take you to local bus stop by ox cart or horse for 1km. Get on bus and depart to UB city at 8am.
